Midwest Rarity

A while back made a quick stop in an unusual, for the Midwest, village. A location that is actuality growing.

    Minster, Ohio

The village of Minster is in Augllaize County and had a population of 2,794 in 2000.  By 2010 it had grown a bit to 2805 and in 2014 it was 2933.

From 2000 - 2014 this a a growth of 4.97%.  May not seem like much change, but in this part of the world it is significant.

Along with the improving population size, there are still reminders of an earlier time.

Changing Minster is certainly worth a return trip in order gain an understanding of the reason for its growth.
