Needless to say, we are inside with lots of coffee awaiting a change in the weather.

On Sunday, before the Winter weather arrived, traveled over to Union City for a photo walkabout.

As stated earlier, this wasn't the first time. Back in 2008, while walking along W. Oak Street, came across Fast Eddies.

Established in 2003, incorporated in Indiana and Categorized under Pubs. 

A few years later, came across the following advertisement:

302-306 W Oak St Union City, IN 47390. Fast Eddie's · Retail Property For Sale ; Building Class. C ; Year Built. 1889 ; Tenancy. Single ; Building Height. 2 Stories.

Returning, in February 17 years later, to find the building under revitalization 

   Union City, Indiana. ca 2020.

with retail businesses including Fast Eddies long gone.

Now in 2025 with construction seemly completed, the building is again available for businesses.  In the far right, replacing Fast Eddies, a sign identifies the occupant as Group Therapy.

The Group Therapy pub is said to provide an inviting atmosphere, offering a variety of beverages and a menu featuring classic pub fare.

 

Union City is turning out to be a rather unique small Midwest community.  With leadership and obtained funding, the city is undergoing an impressive renewal .
