Monday Morning Coffee: Indy Sports Report / Elwood

Just amazing!  They - Colts and Fever - both victorious on Sunday.  Colts now 3-0 and the Fever 1-0 in best of five playoff semifinals. Colts return to action next Sunday and Fever play again Tuesday in Minnesota.

Brief reminder -

Elwood, Indiana with a 2025 population of 8,469 is known for its agricultural roots in tomato farming. The city was originally laid out as Duck Creek, established in 1853 as Quincy and renamed Elwood in 1869.

On an earlier photo backstreet walkabout discovered Roby's Grill.

As one reviewer suggested:

"You can git good food here at Roby's Grill but be prepared for Smokin Folks.  They don't have no laws here in Indiana that keep ya from smokin in Restaurants."

Returning in late August, Roby's has closed and is now home to Irion's Smokehouse

and as one reviewer wrote:

"It's all about the meat, and they nailed it."
