Sunday morning - yesterday - was a bit warm and muggy.
After a cup of coffee, decided to pack up the camera kit, load the car and head out to photograph a couple of previous visited locations.
One of the my favorite photographic tasks is document the status of something today versus what it used to be.
First stop was a return to Ford Model T museum location. Now, have previously posted results from an earlier visit. This time wished to photograph the location across the street from the museum building.
Standing in the middle of the street - it was Sunday little traffic - managed to survive a few passing vehicles to obtain a photograph.
Now this is not a first time result. Over 12 years ago, before the building was part of the Model T exhibit, the face of the structure was very different.
Returning to the parked car noticed a mural, never seen before, on the side of the building.
Richmond, Indiana. ca. August 2024.
Learned a lesson. Don't just view the front, take the time to check out the sides and back. History is not hidden, just around the corner.
