Black & White Wednesday: Calbrating / Game Time / Arrow

Long day - Tuesday - followed by a long evening.

First up - profiling the new monitor.  Message came up on screen that it was time to do it.  Now had ordered and received a recommended tool and had no idea how to use it. Read the online manual - which was not all that clearly written - and started off.  First question was a request to change brightness.  No idea how to do this.  Read the monitor manual and was told to use the five way button.  Didn't know there was such a button. Decided to start a chat with the monitor maker to sort it out.  First response on the chat was a request for money to solve the problem.  No way, cancelled the chat and reread the monitor manual.  Discovered there are buttons on the bottom edge of the monitor including a five way one.

Short story - Attempted to profile the monitor some three times.  The first two times were way less than choice but the third was a success.

This task was started in morning - after breakfast and with a break for lunch was concluded just in time to prepare supper.  Paisley was not pleased as her outdoor time was very limited and short.

After quick supper, settled in to watch the Celtic's basketball game. They finally won the contest but it was decided in over time. It had been a very long day as bedtime was several hours later than usual.

Photo time - A simple out ramp in a parking garage.

For me, black & white images succeed when form, shape and light are all strong in a composition.

Enough for today, time to take Paisley outside for bit and then return for a cup of coffee and a slice of freshly baked bread.  See you on Friday.
