We're back - B&W Wednesday.
While out and about photographing, often carry a couple of cameras. One will be for color and the other a monochrome for black & white.
Several times after looking around, see something that calls out - photograph me.
First impulse is to find a viewing location and photograph using the color camera. O.K. image captured and time to move on.
But not so fast - without moving, with a bit more of looking at the light, form and patterns, discover and see a simple monochrome result. Replacing the color camera with the monochrome one, the newly found composition is captured.
Later - after returning home - in viewing the two files, becomes evident that the color scene called me to stop and take a photograph but the calling was to attract me and upon reflection simplify, select and produce a black and white result.
