TGIF: Back to the Past

As color film and processing tended to be rather expensive,
began by using black and white film and having it processed
and printed by a commercial photo dealer.  As interest grew, decided to learn and do my own processing and printing.

Today, black and white photographs are rather dear.  With the coming of digital photography, color photographs are more common.  Most of these color images remain unprinted and are often only used for the web and social media.

One project for this year is to step back a bit from color work and do more black and white photography.  This will include using film and digital materials.  A goal is to produce about a dozen large prints suitable for framing.

As a start

  Union City, Indiana.
