 Wall markings.  They are often overlooked and rarely seen.

Many are notices for services. Straightforward ads that promise to perform a task, such as this wall in Eaton, Ohio.

 Others promote products.  Items that are needed or not.  Attempting to capture our attention so that we will enter and buy.  As this wall in Richmond, Indiana.

Then there are those that cry out I am here, I did this, notice me. Walls covered with markings which are meaningful if you know the code.  As in this Richmond, Indiana wall.
