B-Day

Today is a very, very, very special day.  It's Liah's14th birthday.

This was taken with an IPhone, when we were first up and about at 5:30 this morning.

The next order of business was a very short walk about the neighborhood.

On return, it was off to the kitchen for breakfast. To celebrate this special day, she had, along with her usual meal, a topping shredded chicken.

As past few months have been a rather tough time for her, this moment is especially meaningful for both of us.
