Monday Morning Coffee: The Best Laid Plans ......

Sunday morning started off as planned. The sun was out and the temperatures were forecast to be in the high 50's - perfect.

A brief walk about the neighborhood with Liah, return home and quick breakfast for both of us.

Quick snap after our walk.

Having packed the photography kit, the night before and placed it in car, the plan was to leave Liah at home, travel to a couple of locations in North Central Indiana and photograph.

While brewing a second cup of coffee to take along decided to check out email and a couple of web pages.

The first opened web page was Kirk Tuck's

3.01.2020 Rest in Peace, Studio Dog entry on
thevisualsciencelab.blogspot.com/

After reading it, looked over to 12 year old Liah - soon to be 13 - next to me

and changed the plan for the day.

Rather than leaving her home alone, while off photographing, we would spend the day together doing things she enjoyed.

We took several short and a few longer walks. She had, way too many, treats as I drank, also way too many, cups of coffee.

Thanks to Kirk Tuck for his Studio Dog post.  Need to take the time to look around and discover what is really important.

Yes, was a good day.  In fact, A GREAT day.
