MidWeek: Nostalgia

Dark early morning / windy outside with Paisley / temperature feels like 30F / quickly return / feed her / make pot of coffee / when finished / pour cup of coffee / sit down / slowly warm up thanks to the coffee.

Our day is underway.

Been - not bad nor good - just interesting past couple of days.  After upsetting federal government, beginning construction on federal property and proposing a new structure, elected wannabe has been busy.

Pour another coffee, move to computer, fire it up and begin reading the news of the day.  A bit later begin writing today's post.

Decided to use

a black & white result from Arcanum, Ohio.

Photographically, it's very old school.  Black and white film, exposed in a moving lens camera, processed using chemicals to produce a negative image and then converted to positive result.

While the Bakery Outlet on the right sounds tempting, it's the sign to the left - nostalgia shoppe - that reflects my morning mood.

Arcanum, a personal favorite walkabout place, is in many ways also Old School.  A quiet well cared for community with brick roads and early 1900 red brick buildings.

A fine location in which to relax, reflect and recall an earlier America.

Yes, Nostalgia is the word for today.
