Monday Morning Coffee: O.T. - Reality / Flora

In a perfect retail world -

you get what you pay for

In the last 7 days this blog has had over 1.7K views.

Most of these are from Hong Cong, Singapore, Foxnews, World Health Organization, University of Toronto and Wired.

For the continuing / long time viewers it to amounts less than double digits per blog entry.

Sadly, the blogging universe is not a perfect world.

Since Google Blogger is free, you get what you paid.  You get what and only what they offer.

They don't offer the ability to block a viewer.  Rather whatever is posted is available to any organization or person.  Usually this is acceptable but when a given viewer views a post over a 100 to 200 times in a given day, it is not acceptable.  Something not good, is occurring.

Not Happy

O.K. - Getting what I paid for - FREE.  So deal with it.

FWIW: Athletes are programmed to want to play through pain. From gyms to locker rooms, the slogans on the wall all say the same thing:

Pain is weakness leaving the body; what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

Will continue to give it go until it becomes too much to deal with and then move on.

As it's been a while, here is a short / quick review.

Flora, Indiana with a declining population of 2,100, offers residents a sparse suburban feel with most residents owning their homes.

The Bishop family purchased and restored THE DIMESTORE building. The projects have included a new roof, electrical work, new air conditioning and furnace units and stabilizing the windows in the front of the building.

 Flora, Indiana.

The Bishop's then gifted the building to Community Thrift Shop, Inc.,

The Thrift Shop, supported by local churches and women’s organizations, opened 52 years ago. It has been in numerous locations and is supported by local churches’ women’s organizations.

THE DIMESTORE is now the Thrift Shop's permanent home.
