Alexandria with a 2024 population of 5,169 is a rare Midwest growing city located in Madison County Indiana.
It was settled during the 1830s and 1840s by people who thought it would be linked by the planned 296-mile long Indiana Central Canal. However, the canal was never completed.
Once again, am taken by the brick and stone architectural details of the building.
