Monday Morning Coffee: Rockford, Ohio

Been troubled the past weeks from reading the press  publications about the political reporting w.r.t. the upcoming presidential contest.

Oh they are, for the most part, accurate but bothered by the results being reported.

In short, can't understand how and why one candidate, who is in many ways a failure yet remains successful in the polls.  Perhaps the press is just not reporting what is really going on across the country.

O.K., Perhaps results from the trip last weekend were not accurate and biased.

Time to leave the safety of home and get out and about the countryside to view for myself.  Brewed a pot of coffee, filled a thermos, gathered up the photography kit and set off - once again - for West Central Ohio.

For a change of pace, selected, the oldest village in Mercer County, Rockford, Ohio.

Advertised as a rich agricultural area of northwest Ohio bordering the Indiana stateline with a 2025 population of 1025.

    Rockford, Ohio.

Traveling about in the village, it appears, as
advertised, that the standard of living, community pride, make it especially attractive as a place to live and do business.

Along the main street is a rather huge / grand grain elevator.

As with earlier journeys into West Central Ohio, on entering the community from the South, the first thing encountered is a

water tower fronted with familiar signage.

Unlike the previous Ohio visit to a rather depressed area, this attractive village offers the same signage supporting the same candidate.

As before, there appeared to be no signage in support for the alternate candidate.

In a few weeks we will know the result.
