Founded in 1802 Lawrenceburg, named for the maiden name of the wife of founder Samuel C. Vance, is a city and the county seat of Dearborn County, Indiana.
Lawrenceburg is a rather rare Midwest location as it is currently growing at a rate of 0.48% annually and its population has increased by 1.94% since the most recent census, which recorded a population of 5,142 in 2020.
On Walnut street, established in1969 by Shirley and Luke Lucarelli, is the family owned and operated Luke's Sewing & Vacuum Center.
