Last week started off well as on Monday/Tuesday-moved some 6,000 files from CD's to SSD's.
The rest of the week was like walking up the down staircase.
Wednesday-PC monitor developed a black square in upper left corner. Ordered a new monitor.
Thursday-new monitor arrived on overnight delivery.
Friday-computer expert installed new monitor.
Saturday-discovered that I had been hacked. Spent most of the morning, afternoon and early evening on phone with internet providers and changing passwords.
Not at all certain that everything has been corrected and have returned to normal. In the coming days, bank and credit card statements will be closely reviewed.
