The weather has returned to lower temperatures and humidity, and for the first time in some two weeks our early morning walk was over in Preble County, Ohio. Surrounded by crops of corn and beans it was a quiet and peaceful ramble.

Located in a block south of the historic Courthouse Square is the 1894 W.D. Kizer building. He was an early settler from North Carolina and was once an auditor for the county.
