First visited Anderson for photography in 2012. Working at that time in black and white, came away with
The Anderson Paramount Theatre opened on August 20, 1929, and at that time was part of the Publix Chain of theaters, owned by Paramount Pictures.
It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
The theater has been extensively restored and reopened in 1995 as the Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom.
