Finally Monday Morning Coffee: Fort Recovery, Ohio

Up early Monday (yesterday) feed Liah and then headed to the kitchen to start the morning breakfast.  First thing is to make fresh coffee.

Problem!  Coffee maker has decided to take the day off. Now the day doesn't go well unless we start off with coffee. Spend the next hour or so attempting to "fix" the coffee maker.  No luck.

So with a cup of Instant coffee the day begins - sort of.  By now, Liah indicates that it's time to head out for the morning walk. Off we go intending to return to the non-working coffee machine on our return.

Finally, late Monday afternoon after several web searches and attempts for a solution to the unresponsive coffee maker, one suggested hack works, the machine comes alive and again makes coffee.

Forward to today (Tuesday).  Morning started with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and life is good again.

Now for some results from Sundays journey.

   Fort Recovery, Ohio.

The village is located in Mercer County with a population of 1420 in 2014.  This is an increase from the 2000 number of 1273.

Two battles of the American Indian Wars took place at Fort Recovery - St. Clair's Defeat in 1791 and the Attack on Fort Recovery in 1794.

A view along the main street - State Route 49:

Rather well attended 1883 building that has been tastefully  updated.  More village views coming later this week.
