(Late) Monday Morning Coffee: Upland, Indiana Wander

Last week spent some time wandering around Upland, Indiana.  Seems to be a rather stable community as the population increased from 3803 in 2000 to 3845 in 2010.

Found some interesting and colorful architecture.  Appears that, as elsewhere in the Midwest, downtown buildings have been converted from retail to housing.

Yes, there is a well cared for Masonic Temple.

While it was mid-morning, had the sidewalks and streets to myself. Came away with the feeling that, on the surface, Upland is a very clean, neat and tidy town.

Will post a few more views later this week.
