This time of the year - months of May and June - here in Indiana mean Spring Cleaning. Time to identify what is no longer needed and can be gotten rid of.
For some this implies a gathering of unwanted items and a trip to Goodwill. For others this is the opportunity to have a yard / garage / tag / moving sale.
This is an informal event for the sale of used goods by private individuals, in which sellers are not required to obtain business licences or collect sales tax.
Such sales attract people who are searching for bargains and rare or unusual items.
Others buy goods from these sales to restore them for resale later.
