Monday Morning Coffee: Lazy Summer Time

Quiet weekend here at the World Headquarters of My Midwest.

Early mornings were spent in doing a bit of yard work while Liah checked out her territory.

As the days warmed up, we both found shady spots and relaxed.  Off course there were moments of coffee and cookies for me and water and treats for her as we passed the humid summer days.

Normally would have been out and about with cameras but lately not as much as earlier in the year.  Liah at 14+ is not as active as she once was.  Our walks are maybe once a day and very short. So, rather then leaving her by herself, we are spending more time together.

Earlier managed to combine a local short shopping trip with a quick alley walkabout.

This was captured using a Nikon D200.  A 10.2 megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera that was released by the Nikon Corporation in November 2005.

Makes one wonder if today's cameras with more megapixels  are all that better.
