Monday Morning Coffee: Winter

Winter - It's coming later today.  There is a weather advisory for rain, followed by freezing rain, followed by snow.  We are ready as fire wood has been delivered.

Inside - Wood fire will be used to heat the house.  Electricity use will increase as the daylight hours shorten. Will be a slower and quieter time.  Liah will sleep more.  Coffee and meals will be lingered over. Reading, watching television and listening to music will replace the more active outside lifestyle.  

Outdoors - Neighborhood walks will be shorted.  Shorts and Tee shirts will be packed away, replaced by long pants and warm shirts. Tennis shoes will give way to hiking boots.  Heavy warm coats, gloves and hats are called for.

Plenty of time to recall and prepare.

Recall - Warm Spring days as a colorful natural landscape returned.

Prepare - Planing for future tasks and projects.
