Wayne County, formed in 1811 and named for Gen. “Mad” Anthony Wayne, is located in east central Indiana on the border with Ohio. It had a 2019 population of 65,994.
The county has a diverse agricultural base that is strong in corn, soybeans, oats, wheat, beef, pork, and poultry.
