Monday Morning Coffee: Now

The weather on Sunday was wonderfully cool and sunny.  For the first time since March, picked up the camera kit, told Liah that she was in charge of the office and left to photograph.

Not wanting to travel very far, decided to drive a couple of miles, parked in downtown, selected a couple of camera's and started walking.

Most of the time choose subject matter that reflect the architectural past and present.  Today was different.  Today set out to express the Now.

Due to the widespread virus, one of the realities of NOW is the lost work opportunities. So many closures along with sheltering in place has raised the unemployment number greater than the depression of the 30's.

Additionally, due to recent police violence, the 400 year racial past is NOW front and center. Protests and marches for equality are spread across the world. The goal is that this is the time to squarely face and resolve this issue.
