Crete, Indiana. ca 2000
Backstory:
Yesterday, in preparing this post, realized that the last time visited Crete was in 2000. First thought was as to whether the elevator still existed. Using Google to find out yielded nothing.
Now yesterday, still sheltered in place along with outside temperatures in the 40's, strong NW wind and overcast sky, was not too choice to be out and about with a camera.
Couldn’t get the question out of my head. After a cup of coffee, grabbed a camera, decided to go and see if the elevator was still there.
Some 20 miles later, had my answer.

Yes, it's sorta still there. Much has changed but remains a working grain elevator.
