Master Mix - Trimple Grain Co.

   Losantville, Indiana. ca 1994

No longer exists as was torn down shorty after the death of owner.

Backstory:  During the 80‘s and 90‘s devoted a great deal time and effort to distance cycling.  Riding anywhere from 300 to 600 miles a week. This mileage included training, organized national and international events.

One day on a training ride, bit North of Losantville, a bike pedal broke followed by a rather dramatic crash resulting in a large amount of bleeding road rash.  After a few minutes to recover, got up and began walking with the bike into Losantville.

In town headed towards the grain elevator as it was the only sign of activity.  Arrived, located the office and Mr. Trimble.  He took a quick look and took me to a nearby building with running water and bandages.  After cleaning up, returned to elevator, put the bike in his truck, we got in and he drove some 20 miles to my home.

After recovery, returned and photographed the elevator.  Made several large mounted prints to thank him for his kindness.  Arriving, discovered the elevator closed.  Found a neighbor that told me he had died, directed me to the Trimble home, met his wife and left the prints with her
