Union City, Indiana

Union City is a city in  Randolph County, Indiana that was platted in 1849, eleven years after its twin city of Union City, Ohio.

At the census of 2000, there were 3,622 people and by 2017 it was down to 3,462.  This was a decrease since 2000 of -4.4%.

There seems to be a renewal project underway as this empty and boarded building is one of several in similar condition.
