Returning once again to LeRoy, illinois. It is a city with a population of about 3,500 in McLean County. The city is over 175 years old, as the date stated on the W. Cox block suggests.
As a walkabout photographer, am always interested in "making my feet glad".
The Princess Theatre was built in 1916 as a brick building with limestone accents. The first movie was shown on November 21, 1916. Originally it was a silent movie house with piano accompaniment. "Talkies" did not debut in LeRoy until 1931.
Finally a very interesting retail store, as this is not your usual run of the mill active business.
