After a couple of cycles of water and vinegar followed by several water rinses the machine again produces a reasonably good cup of coffee. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Next order of business, restore the computer by updating the profile, removing unused bookmarks and programs. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">The pro</span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">filing is rather straightforward procedure </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">thanks to a display calibration tool. The new profile made the screen much brighter and a more accurate color.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">The review of bookmarks and programs took a bit of time. What to keep and what not to retain required carefully and individuality evaluating each one. They were like old friends and to discard one was difficult. Finally finished and took a break for coffee before attacking the camera kits.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">The m4/3 Panasonic equipment is, for the most part, updated and in good condition. All that is needed is a spot of surface cleaning and some battery charging. <br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">If you have been following along, you know that have recently added </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">to the photography kit </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">a </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Pentax color and monochrome </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">camera body along with matching lenses. As the bodies and lenses arrived in fine surface shape, all that's required is review, if necessary correct, the body settings and charge the batteries. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Now that all these tasks are completed, time to turn attention to actually using the equipment. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">From a walkabout, in Frankfort, Indiana, the county seat of Clinton County. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Now, Frankfort was originally laid out on a 60-acre tract donated by brothers John, William, and Nicholas Pence from Warren County, Ohio, in 1830. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">At their request the town was named Frankfort in honor of their great-grandparents home of Frankfurt am Main in Germany. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Frankfort with a 2024 population16,416, is currently declining at a rate of -0.7% annually and its population

As promised, was able to pack up the new arrivals and head to the testing site.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Bit of background: </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Earlier - on February 12 - posted about my preference for black & white photography that lead to obtaining a new recently available Pentax K3.III </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">monochrome camera and matching lens. The results from this new camera and lens combination have been better than expected. So much so that, wondered if perhaps, a similar color combination might be worth obtaining.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Task 1: </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Off to web land to discover what is available. After reading ever so many reviews, decided that a Pentax color outfit would be good useful kit addition. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">The color Pentax K3 III is the newest offering and would exactly match my monochome camera. While new would be nice, it would be a financial stretch. There are many used offerings which are priced almost as new.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Conclusion:</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">The addition of a new Pentax K3 III not a possibility at this time.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; The estimated population of the state of Indiana in 2024 is 6,862,199 or 6.9 million. Overall the Indiana population has, mainly in urban and suburban locations, a small positive growth rate. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">However, the state population losses for people younger than 18 was close to 8%. As more and more young folks move away, perhaps for school, and / or for employment opportunities, this causes a population decline in rural areas. </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">If young rural adults move away, then the families that they will have aren’t in hometown communities.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Wayne County, Indiana estimated 2024 population is 65,839 with a growth rate of -0.33% in the past year. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Economy is a town in Wayne County, Indiana with a 2024 population of 145.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Economy
was laid out and platted in 1825. The town was named by the original
landowner, Charles Osborn, who thought of laying out the town into lots
as the most "economical" way of selling off his property, hence the name
Economy.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx0-VUbmHl8QP3JequjYiQnGp4-MaEggicqQGLWfssWyMFTdihdQrRU500-Cg99jWKp7wBCi1hMO1mJjOHOST7BhuqDMxqV7ZEpVLkReFlzb_9e-rl6JYa02iE5lcw6UA7dTPcGbWgxGuh-WtVacfkwqFUyv0B51bjYWHNHgLLfQD1tVHPSagvIo2l1viy/s1050/N%20D1X%203115%20%20B&W%20Economy,%20Indiana.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="810" data-original-width="1050" height="494" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx0-VUbmHl8QP3JequjYiQnGp4-MaEggicqQGLWfssWyMFTdihdQrRU500-Cg99jWKp7wBCi1hMO1mJjOHOST7BhuqDMxqV7ZEpVLkReFlzb_9e-rl6JYa02iE5lcw6UA7dTPcGbWgxGuh-WtVacfkwqFUyv0B51bjYWHNHgLLfQD1tVHPSagvIo2l1viy/w640-h494/N%20D1X%203115%20%20B&W%20Economy,%20Indiana.jpg" width="640" /></a><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"> Economy, Indiana.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"> </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Economy

If at the time of exposure you <i>see</i> black &white, use the monochrome camera.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Before you push the button, <i>pre-visualize</i> the final desired result and choose accordingly. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">All writing and images © Richard W. Pressing on it to enter a t it would not stop. Instead it just kept producing tttttttttt.....</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">O.K - had another keyboard. Got it, installed fresh batteries, plugged it in and installed it. The new keyboard would type t but - guess what - it would not type p. Enough already!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Went downstairs, fired up an very old PC computer that had a touch screen which worked. Not the fastest way to work, but it did the job without problems. Next task is to obtain a new keyboard.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Secondly, yesterday - Thursday afternoon - sat down in front of the computer, which now has a working keyboard, planing to watch a recorded program. Turned on the computer, opened up the program and hit the start arrow. No sound, nothing, nada.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Went thru the drill - check wires and plugs, try another program with a soundtrack, shut down the machine and restart it - still no sound.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Next steps - get a cup of coffee and while drinking it look out the window. After the cup was empty, looked - using Google - for possible solutions. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">For the next 3 hours, found and </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">tried </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">a rather large number of suggestions. It seems that others have had a similar </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">problem.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">After continued failures shut down the computer which now types but doesn't talk, looked at Paisley, said lets go outside and get some fresh air.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Returning refreshed, poured something stronger than coffee, carried it upstairs and turned on the computer. Opened up a program with a soundtrack, hit play and - wonder of wonders - there was sound. Went back to the original program to find that it now played with sound. The <i>Computer God had </i>appeared and fixed the problem. Have no idea why it suddenly works but will just enjoy the fact that it does.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Earlier on a rather nice day, </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">seeking a spot of quiet time,</span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"> picked up a camera, </span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">drove over to a nearby cemetery</span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"> and did a short walkabout.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Came away with several photographs including: <br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdaU7tySDUbrVTxEsLMCSjrXH0kRpmPNyKK7fJEod1OqoSJJLlZT0w3_ItQSzR4H9ZubGY1kNIVrcQPsTFN3dj_XoEMb9wWNsETqShkMqanmgd8CM3BIf0SUjGCfthxw74mpzbB4JV_6wSjJj0CgCsRwVwd7wG9OBEglV1tUpLr7n1Vm-Y-Gm7avEO5AL7/s675/0283%20B&W%20Stone%20Maiden.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="675" data-original-width="478" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdaU7tySDUbrVTxEsLMCSjrXH0kRpmPNyKK7fJEod1OqoSJJLlZT0w3_ItQSzR4H9ZubGY1kNIVrcQPsTFN3dj_XoEMb9wWNsETqShkMqanmgd8CM3BIf0SUjGCfthxw74mpzbB4JV_6wSjJj0CgCsRwVwd7wG9OBEglV1tUpLr7n1Vm-Y-Gm7avEO5AL7/w454-h640/0283%20B&W%20Stone%20Maiden.jpg" width="454" /></a><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"> </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"> Richmond, Indiana.</span></div><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">All writing and images © Richard W.
