The village of Minster, Ohio in Auglaize and Shelby counties is a rather interesting community. It, as with ever so many small Midwest locations, is a decreasing place as the 2025 population of 2959 is almost 100 less than the reported 2020 population.
What is surprising is that this is a prosperous village as the average household income in Minster is $126,831 with a low poverty rate of 2.14%.
On the Western part of the central main street is a reminder of long ago complete food service.
Walking eastward towards the center of the village is a very well cared for 1864 building.

Will continue on Wednesday with addition results from our Minster walkabout.
